I deployed a private 5G network core on Azure, with the radio access network running on local machines — the goal being to bring a private network up to the standards of a public operator network.

The core runs on Azure Kubernetes Service and the radio side on two on-site nodes, joined by a WireGuard tunnel. Terraform and Ansible provision the whole thing, so the network can be rebuilt from scratch in hours.
